Pedestrians and people walking are crossing the crosswalk, they’re using their cell phone they’re distracted. You may be a distracted pedestrian. Or somebody else may be a distracted pedestrian. But what happens is, that there are so many car accidents in the Florida area or Tampa Bay area, that anywhere in the United States, for that matter, that the car accidents happen because people are running red lights.
The car accidents are happening because they’re not paying attention to where they need to be going. Now, if you happen to be a pedestrian crossing the crosswalk, and a car happens to run the red light, you may be injured. If you are injured and they’re not fatal and you do not live in a household that somebody has insurance, that person’s insurance, up to $10,000 of medical coverages with Florida personal injury protection, may cover you. If you have car insurance and you have a car and you just happen to be walking that day, your car insurance company may cover you because it’s for personal injury, accident-related. If you have any questions about this, feel free to give us a call at 833-4-BAD DAY (833-422-3329).
