What’s up Tampa? Had a bad day? My name’s Attorney Edward Reyes. So how do auto accident claims actually work? Well, it depends on how the chain is set up and how we decide to use it. For example, if you were involved in a car accident and it is not your fault, your insurance company, your personal injury protection or your PIP will pay your medical coverage is up to $10,000.
The other’s insurance company, if they have bodily injury, will cover you for pain and suffering and that comes after a settlement. But it doesn’t cover you for your immediate health care up to $10,000 that’s your own personal protection because Florida is a no-fault state. Now, if the person that crashes into does not have enough insurance, if you have the policy card uninsured motorist that covers you for if they don’t have enough insurance or they don’t have insurance at all. It all depends on how much-uninsured motorists that you have.
Now, if you get in a car accident and it’s just your fault then you have to go to your insurance. Your insurance company will cover you for your medical no matter who’s at-fault and 65% of your lost wages up to $10,000.
