Are you asking for anything from the public, like is there a message you want to put out there or something that they can do to help?
Well, I think that the public is sharing their stories and people become very aware because stats is one thing. I can tell you a number 26.7. And you’re like “Wow, that sounds pretty bad and starts.” For some people that works really well.
But when you tell a story to a message, when you hear about a 14-year-old kid crossing the crosswalk and the sheriff runs it and kills this kid and sends him to his death because the sheriff was speeding or if you hear a 46-year-old gentleman that was on the road in a 15-year-old girl head-on because of texting, that speaks more than me telling you 26.7% people are driving uninsured or whatever this that is.
I have two daughters; I have a twenty-two and a thirteen-year-old. And if God forbid, I hear a story about a 14-year-old girl just got killed by a drunk driver and how it happened because she was riding a bike on the side of the road, that would resonate with me more than saying you know five kids got killed in Hillsborough County. Does that make sense?
So, I think that if that starts happening, you’ll see the progression of change happen because people are sharing their stories.
